Like the first book, BAM and the Music portrays a journey for our protagonist as he seeks to find his sound or voice through trying new things. BAM explores many instruments through this discovery. Through his journey, we learn a little bit more about him home world and introduce some friends who will make appearances in later volumes. BAM and the Music also derives from the personal experiences of the authors, who have intimate knowledge of peaks and valleys one must go through to define their creative voice. Artists of all calibers can relate to the victories and failures of finding and understanding your specific creative gifts and how they will translate to the world around you. As with the first book, we seek to portray values of perseverance, working through frustration and having fun in the process.
